The Irish alternative to Jobber, Tradify & ServiceM8

The big job-management platforms are good products — we'll say so plainly below. They're also built for other markets: dollar pricing, SMS-first messaging, payments that don't operate here. JobFlow is built in Ireland for Irish trades. Here's the honest version of how they stack up.

Jobber

Excellent native apps, 100+ integrations and a real marketing suite — in North America. For Irish businesses there's no euro pricing, Jobber Payments isn't available, and customer texting only works on US, UK and Canadian numbers.

Tradify

The one that takes Ireland seriously: euro pricing, an Irish freephone and a real Xero sync. But it charges per user (€38–€49 each), has no customer portal, and recurring invoices arrive as drafts you still approve and send yourself.

ServiceM8

Australian, keenly priced (from €29/month with unlimited users) and packed with AI features. But the full app is iPhone-only — Android users get a cut-down field app — there's no phone support at all, its AI phone agent doesn't operate in Ireland, and there's nothing Irish about it: no Eircode support, no Irish VAT treatment, no WhatsApp.

Credit where due: Unlimited staff on every plan, a genuine free tier, polished iOS apps and the broadest AI feature set of the three.

What “built in Ireland” actually buys you

  • Priced in euro: €59/month with 2 users included, +€10/user
  • Payments that work here — Stripe payment links, deposits and Care Plan autopay by card or SEPA
  • WhatsApp-first messaging, because that's where Irish customers are
  • Eircode lookup, Irish VAT rates and RTD export built in
  • SEAI partner workflows for grant-funded work
  • Care Plans: recurring billing that actually charges itself

And the honest trade-off: JobFlow has no native mobile apps — it runs as a fast web app on any phone, nothing to install — and it exports accountant-ready files for Xero and Sage rather than a live sync. If those two things matter more to you than the list above, one of the others may fit better. We'd rather you pick right than pick us.
