Problems we solve for solar installers

Sales tools stop at the signed job

Then comes everything else: the survey visit, the scaffolding date, the crew, the kit collection and the commissioning, none of it living in the proposal tool.

Certs, packs and paperwork to chase

Every install produces certificates, commissioning documents and a completion pack, and somebody has to know which of them have actually gone out.

The deposit you meant to collect

Panels, inverters and batteries ordered before the deposit landed, and the invoice waiting until someone's back at a desk.

Built for the install pipeline

From survey visit to commissioned and paid

Sales tools run the sale and stop at the signed job. JobFlow runs everything after that.

1

Survey to commissioning, one job

Run survey, install days and commissioning as visits on a single job, with photos, documents and every site detail in one place, and nothing living in someone's head.

survey → install → commissioning
2

Deposits before you order stock

Take a percentage or fixed deposit, hold scheduling until it's paid if you want to, and it comes off the final invoice automatically.

deposit paid → install booked
3

Certs tracked, invoice out on the day

Certificates, commissioning documents and completion packs are tracked from added to ready to sent. Invoice from the phone the moment commissioning's done.

commissioned → pack sent → paid
The toolkit

Features built for solar installers

One job, survey to commissioning

A solar install isn't one visit, so it isn't one calendar entry either. Run survey, install days and commissioning as visits on a single job, with photos, documents and every site detail in one place, and nothing living in someone's head.

Deposits before you order stock

Panels, inverters and batteries are real money to have sitting on a van. Take a percentage or fixed deposit, hold scheduling until it's paid if you want to, and it comes off the final invoice automatically.

Quotes that survive scope changes

Build quotes from your own kit and pricing in minutes. Customers accept online, and when the spec changes (a bigger battery, an EV charger while you're at it), the revised quote goes out with every previous version kept on file. If they decline, you capture why.

Expensive leads, none wasted

Solar leads cost real money, so losing one to a slow follow-up hurts twice. Website enquiries become jobs in JobFlow automatically, and gone-cold tracking flags anyone nobody's called back before they buy from someone faster.

Crews and routes that survive the day

One tap puts the day's stops in the best order, then you drag reality back in: the wholesaler collection before stop two, lunch where it suits. Waypoints attach to the jobs they belong to, and the whole crew sees the day in order on their phones.

See planned versus actual

Install days overrun; that's solar. A live board shows each day as planned beside how it actually ran, today or any day in the past, so you know which jobs slipped and what it did to the week without ringing anyone.

Certs and completion packs, tracked

Every install produces paperwork: certificates, commissioning documents, completion packs. JobFlow tracks each document from added to ready to sent, and sends the full pack to the customer or their consultant in one go.

Customers who know you're coming

Confirmations and reminders arrive as real WhatsApp messages with tap-to-confirm buttons, with email as the fallback. On the day, one tap sends an on-my-way message with a live arrival window worked out from where the van actually is.

Works on the roof

No signal at the meter box, none in the attic, none halfway up the scaffold. The field app keeps working offline and syncs photos, notes and job updates when coverage returns.

Paid, and accounted for

Invoice from the phone the moment commissioning's done, with payment links and automatic reminders. Payments run through your own Stripe account and JobFlow adds no margin. Correct Irish VAT treatment is printed on every invoice, and at year end your accountant gets a one-click pack with the Return of Trading Details export (the annual VAT breakdown Revenue asks for) included.

Partners who feed you installs

Energy consultancies and companies that subcontract installs get their own portal to submit and track jobs, with batch month-end invoicing on your side. Partner users don't count toward your user limit.

Service plans for the aftercare

Panel cleaning, inverter checks, annual visits: put customers on a plan with renewal reminders that state the price up front, and turn install customers into recurring ones.

Straight answers

Solar software questions, answered

Is JobFlow a solar CRM?

No, and that's deliberate. Solar CRMs and proposal tools run the sale and stop at the signed job. JobFlow is job management: it runs everything after that, from the survey to the crew schedule to the certs to the invoice and the VAT. If you use a sales tool, JobFlow picks up where it stops. If you don't, JobFlow's website lead capture and quoting may be all you need.

Does JobFlow handle SEAI grant paperwork?

JobFlow doesn't manage grant applications. What it does is fit the shape of grant-funded work: multi-visit installs, tracked certificates and completion documents, and a portal for the consultancies that feed you jobs, so the paperwork your installs produce is organised and sent without the scramble.

Can I take a deposit before ordering equipment?

Yes. Set a percentage or fixed amount, collect it by card or bank transfer, optionally hold scheduling until it's paid, and it's deducted from the final invoice automatically.

Does it work for heat pumps and EV chargers too?

Yes. Any multi-visit install runs the same way: survey, install, commissioning, certs, invoice. Plenty of solar businesses run their heat pump and EV charger work through JobFlow alongside. See our SEAI contractors page for the wider energy-upgrade picture.

How much does JobFlow cost?

One plan: €59 a month plus VAT, including two users, then €10 a month per extra user. No add-ons, no contracts, and setup is included.
