Three things, and they're real. First, the pricing model: unlimited users, priced by job volume, with a genuine free tier at 30 jobs a month. A husband-and-wife outfit doing 40 jobs a month pays about $29 while adding as many logins as they like. JobFlow costs €59 for that same business, and we won't pretend otherwise. Second, the iOS app is the slickest field experience in the category, full stop. Third, its two-way Xero sync is best in class; JobFlow's accounting side works through Xero-ready and Sage-ready exports rather than a live sync, and if a real-time Xero connection is your single non-negotiable, ServiceM8 wins that line today.
The Android problem. ServiceM8 was built iOS-first, and while there's now an Android app called ServiceM8 Lite, it's far less capable than the iOS version. The moment you hire someone with a Samsung in their pocket, half your team is using a different, smaller product. JobFlow runs the full product on any phone, and the field app works fully offline, syncing when coverage returns.
Busy months cost more. Job-volume pricing cuts both ways. A quiet February is cheap; a flat-out June that tips you over a tier isn't, and past 1,500 jobs it's another 20 cents per job.
