JobFlow vs Joblogic (2026): An Honest Comparison for Irish Businesses

Updated August 2026 · 6 min read

Disclosure first: we build JobFlow, so read this knowing where we stand. Joblogic is a capable, well-established UK platform, and on compliance paperwork and planned maintenance it goes deeper than we do. It's also priced per user in sterling with a menu of add-ons, and it's built for UK schemes rather than Irish ones. Here's the honest comparison.

* RTD = the Return of Trading Details, the annual VAT breakdown every VAT-registered business in Ireland has to file. Joblogic pricing, tiers, trial length, tier gating and add-on prices are from their own pricing page, August 2026; some older pages on their site still show a lower starting figure, so check the current one.

Where Joblogic genuinely wins

Compliance paperwork. Trade-specific certificates across a wide range of industries, including gas certificates and F-Gas records, with mobile forms behind them. If your trade lives or dies on standardised certificates, Joblogic has more of that built in than we do.

Planned maintenance and assets. Asset registers, planned maintenance schedules, contracts and SLAs, and the reporting to run them. Built for contractors servicing equipment across sites, and genuinely strong at it.

Live accounting sync. Native two-way connections to Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. JobFlow works through Xero-ready and Sage-ready export files, not a live sync, and there's no QuickBooks format at all. If a real-time accounting connection is your non-negotiable, that's a point to them today.

Job costing. Joblogic does job costing and JobFlow doesn't. If knowing your margin per job inside the same system matters, that's a straight point to them.

A longer trial. Thirty days against our fourteen.

Genuine overlap, worth saying plainly. Joblogic's Standard plan already covers customer and site management, assets, job management, quotes and invoices, a mobile app, forms and recurring jobs. This isn't a comparison between a toy and a platform; it's a comparison between a UK service-management platform and an Irish job-management one.

Where it strains for an Irish trade business

Per-user pricing in sterling, plus the add-on menu. At Joblogic's published Standard starting price, five users work out at £225 a month billed annually, before VAT, and before any device bundles, VOIP or asset labels you decide you want. That's in a currency that isn't yours, moving with the exchange rate. JobFlow is €59 a month plus VAT with two users included, then €10 for each additional person: €89 for that same five-person team, with nothing else to buy.

The compliance depth is real, but it's UK compliance. Joblogic's certificate and compliance work is centred on UK building-services requirements. That's a genuine strength for a UK contractor and simply the wrong paperwork for an Irish one. JobFlow takes the opposite approach: fewer built-in compliance modules, with Irish VAT, the RTD, Eircode lookup and Irish statutory leave in the core instead.

Things you would expect to be included sit a tier up. On their own comparison grid, Route Scheduling is Premium and Enterprise only, so is Engineer Tracking, Timesheets & Audits, and Advanced Reports & Dashboards and the Custom Form Builder are Enterprise only. JobFlow has one plan: route planning, timesheets with Irish statutory leave accrual, and the reporting are all simply in it.

Three things JobFlow does that Joblogic doesn't

The Irish accounting stack. Five Irish VAT rates with correct treatment per line, cash-receipts or invoice basis, an RTD data export, and a one-click Accountant Pack in Xero-ready and Sage-ready formats.

WhatsApp, natively. Confirmations and reminders as real WhatsApp messages with tap-to-confirm buttons, and on-my-way messages with a live traffic-aware arrival time, on the channel Irish customers actually answer.

A partner portal, included. The property managers and consultancies that feed you work get their own login to submit and track jobs, with batch month-end invoicing, and those partner users don't count toward your user limit.

Who should pick which

Pick Joblogic if you're a UK-facing or compliance-heavy contractor with a large certificate burden, you run planned maintenance across asset registers, live accounting sync matters more than anything Irish-specific, and per-user pricing in sterling suits your size.

Pick JobFlow if you're an Irish service business that wants one euro price with everything in it, Irish VAT and the RTD handled without workarounds, WhatsApp your customers actually reply to, and no tier to climb as you hire.

FAQ

How much does Joblogic cost?

Their Standard plan starts at £45 per user per month billed annually, quoted excluding VAT, with Premium and Enterprise tiers above it and optional paid add-ons including device bundles, VOIP telephony and asset QR labels. Check their pricing page for current figures.

Is there an Irish alternative to Joblogic?

Yes, that's us: JobFlow is Irish-built job management software at €59 a month for one plan with everything included. We build it, so weigh that as you read, and see our full roundup for every option.

Does JobFlow sync with Xero like Joblogic does?

Not live. Joblogic has native two-way Xero, Sage and QuickBooks integrations. JobFlow produces Xero-ready and Sage-ready export files with Irish VAT mapped, which your accountant loads, and there's no QuickBooks format. If live sync is essential, Joblogic wins that line.

Which is better for gas and heating certificates?

Joblogic has a deeper built-in certificate library. JobFlow tracks your certificates and commissioning reports as documents, from added to ready to sent, and sends them to the customer as one pack. Different approaches: theirs is more forms, ours is more workflow. More on how that works for heating and boiler businesses.

The bottom line

Joblogic is a strong choice for a compliance-heavy contractor comfortable with sterling, per-user pricing and a tier ladder. It just isn't an Irish product, and the Irish parts of running a trade business, the VAT, the RTD, the Eircodes, the way customers actually reply, are the parts it leaves to you. That's the gap JobFlow exists to close.
